Do I need to be at home while you provide a quote?
No. If the tree is located in your front yard or is easily accessible, our arborist can complete a quote without you being at home. Please ensure you let us know if there are any pets, especially dogs, if the backyard needs to be accessed.
If you would like to be at home, our arborist is happy to meet you onsite and answer any questions you may have.
Do I need to be at home when the tree work is carried out?
No. Affordable Tree Works has a trusty and reliable team, who can undertake work even if you are not at home.
How do I know if I need council approval?
Before a tree is removed on your property, it is important to obtain council approval if required.
Affordable Tree Works is able to advise you if council approval is needed. Alternatively, please refer to the Tree Preservation Guidelines in the relevant council area provided on the following page.
Are there any restrictions for tree pruning?
Yes, there are limits on the amount of branches you can remove from a tree. Contact our arborist for more details.
Once I have made a booking with Affordable Tree Works, when is payment required?
Payment may be made on the day the work is undertaken. Alternatively, you have 7 days to make your payment once an invoice is issued.
How do I pay for your services?
Affordable Tree Works accepts cash, cheque or bank transfers.
Do you use subcontractors for climbing?
No. Affordable Tree Works has an in-house climber, who owns and operates the business. Having our own climber means we do not have to pay high fees for contract climbers and we’re able to offer our clients a competitive, affordable price.
Do you provide tree reports if necessary?
Our arborist is able to visit your property and advise you if a tree report is required. Affordable Tree Works refers all tree reports to a Hunter Valley consultant arborist, who specialises in writing tree reports. Contact us if you would like further details.
Can I keep the mulch or logs?
Yes. If requested, mulch or log from the work may be left at your property.
